Regional Sales Manager (closed)

Our client is the world’s largest lessor of intermodal freight containers, with approximately $12 billion in assets generating nearly $1.7 billion in annual revenue. Operating through 20 offices in 16 countries, our client services its customers through a network of around 600 third-party-operated depot facilities spread across 66 countries. To support their continued growth, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join their team in Hamburg.

The role summary

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across various geographies and sectors.
  • Understand each customer’s unique needs to provide tailored solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales process from initial contact through to order completion and payment.
  • Enhance net sales values by developing agreements such as gate sales, consignment sales, and sale depot agreements.
  • This includes supplying Shipper Owned Containers (SOC) to freight forwarders and logistics companies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations, adopting best practices in all sales activities.

 

Your profile

  • You Hold a college degree or equivalent work-related experience.
  • You have minimum of 3 years of experience working in container sales and/or the logistics & freight forwarding sector within the DACH territory.
  • You have experience with B2B sales.
  • You are Fluent in German & English.
  • You are able and willing to travel frequently within the assigned region.
