Sales Engineer (Paint and Ink Industry)

As the market leader in factory automation for the blow molding industry, our client has grown significantly since its inception over 30 years ago. Company specializes in developing a wide range of innovative surface treatment solutions and efficient quality machines. To support their continued growth, they are looking forward to grow their team.

The role

  • Develop and execute sales targets for plasma coating technology in the global solvent-based paint and printing inks market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in the industry.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers and partners, addressing their needs and ensuring successful implementation and usage of the plasma coating technology.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay updated on industry trends and refine sales strategies.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical papers to customers and partners.
  • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics, analyzing data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations, adopting best practices in all sales activities. Travel domestically and internationally, to meet with customers and partners.

Your profile

  • You hold a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Sales, Marketing or related field.
  • You preferably have 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, project development or technical support in or serving the solvent-based paint and printing inks industry.
  • Technical knowledge of packaging requirements in the solvent-based paint and printing inks industry is an advantage.
  • You are business fluent in English, with additional languages being a plus.
  • You are able and willing to internationally travel 25%-50% of the time.
