Sales Manager – Renewables

Our client

Our client, a prominent manufacturer of photovoltaic systems with a robust market presence in Germany, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to spearhead growth initiatives in the Munich region.

Your Profile

  • Proven Sales Experience – You have at least two years of demonstrated success in the renewables sector, preferably with direct experience in B2C solar panel sales.
  • Willingness to Travel – This position involves significant travel, with potential travel requirements up to 50% to meet with clients and drive sales initiatives.
  • Relationship Building Expertise – You possess exceptional skills in forming and maintaining client relationships, crucial for long-term success in sales.
  • Results-Driven Attitude – You are highly motivated by targets and thrive in a performance-driven environment. Your focus is on achieving and surpassing sales goals, delivering tangible results that significantly contribute to our company’s success.
  • Strategic Acumen – With a strategic approach, you analyze market trends and data to identify and seize growth opportunities. You develop and implement effective strategies to maximize market penetration.
  • Language Proficiency – Fluency in both German and English is required, enabling effective communication across diverse client groups.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively selling solar panel systems directly to consumers. Develop and execute sales strategies that maximize profit and increase market share
  • Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional service and addressing client needs promptly and effectively.
  • Market Analysis and Strategic Planning: Continuously analyze regional market trends and customer behavior. Use insights to develop strategic plans that address market dynamics and opportunities for growth.
  • Travel and Client Meetings: Travel frequently within the Munich region to engage with clients, conduct presentations, and close sales. Ensure a proactive presence in the field to drive business development.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer support, to enhance the sales process and improve customer satisfaction. Provide feedback and strategic advice to the headquarters to refine products and offerings.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly track and report on sales performance and other key metrics. Adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
