The company
Centriair develops high-efficiency industrial air-treatment systems — odour reduction, particle separation and catalytic gas treatment — for applications from food processing to waste management and biogas. The Swedish group, headquartered in Partille near Gothenburg, serves the DACH market from its German office in Edingen-Neckarhausen near Heidelberg.
The challenge
Sales Engineers who can sell complex emission-control technology to plant operators are rare: the profile combines process-engineering understanding with the stamina for long capital-equipment sales cycles — working independently out of the small German office of a Swedish group. Candidates like this are almost never actively looking for a job.
Our approach
We mapped the DACH market systematically across environmental technology, air handling and plant engineering: 992 profiles sourced and screened. Promising candidates were approached directly; 37 went through a structured first interview with JN Recruitment. Twelve candidates were presented to Centriair — every single one of them passive, reachable only through direct approach.
The result
Centriair interviewed seven candidates, four advanced to the second round — and after 3 months and 11 days the contract was signed. The new Sales Engineer now covers the DACH region for Centriair’s German office.
