European markets where we place logistics sales professionals
Long cycles, hard numbers
Intralogistics is project business at its most demanding: a warehouse system is specified against throughput, footprint and payback, negotiated with logistics managers, plant engineers and controllers, and decided over months. Nobody buys a conveyor - they buy a promise about pallets per hour.
The people who sell that carry two languages at once. They talk cycle times, picking strategies and interfaces with the customer’s engineers, and return on investment and downtime risk with the people signing. That combination is rare in a market where automation demand keeps rising and every serious supplier is hunting the same handful of names.
Whether you build conveyors, cranes and hoists, storage systems and shuttles, or sell contract logistics: we run the search in the market’s own language and hand you people who have sold material flow through exactly these decision cycles before.
Segments we cover
Materials handling spans everything from components to turnkey systems - each with its own buyers and sales cycles. These are the segments we recruit for:
Roller and belt conveyors, drives, rollers and controls - component and OEM business with system integrators.
Overhead cranes, hoists, gantry systems and load handling attachments, including service and modernisation.
Shuttle and pallet systems, AutoStore-type solutions, sorters and the software layer above them.
Forklifts, warehouse trucks, AGV and AMR fleets - sales, rental and after-sales.
Palletising, wrapping, labelling and shipping technology at the end of the production line.
Warehousing, fulfilment and transport services sold to industry and retail on long-term contracts.
Where the seconds count
Every metre of conveyor is a promise about time. We find the people who can make it.
Positions we fill
From the first commercial hire in a market to a European sales organisation - these are the roles logistics and materials handling clients trust us with:
Territory hunters for material flow: direct customers, integrators, dealers and end users.
Your first hire in a new market: opens the country, owns the P&L, builds the customer base and later the local team.
Leads and professionalises the sales organisation - pipeline discipline, key accounts, pricing and forecast quality.
Opens new segments and applications: from single machines into systems, or from industry into e-commerce and retail.
Consultative selling of automation projects: layout and throughput concepts, feasibility, calculation and tender work.
Builds the service P&L: field service, service contracts, spare parts and modernisation of the installed base.
Technical sales and sales leadership across the whole commercial organisation: Sales Manager, Area and Regional Sales Manager, Country Manager, Head of Sales, Business Development Manager, Solution or Project Sales Engineers - plus the service side, from Service Manager to Head of After-Sales. Typical clients are conveyor and crane manufacturers, warehouse automation suppliers, industrial truck brands and logistics service providers.
Yes. Contract logistics and fulfilment are sold the same way capital equipment is: long cycles, tender processes and buyers who calculate every cent per pallet. We place business development and key account profiles who have won that business, alongside the equipment side.
All of Europe. Most mandates centre on the DACH region, Poland, the Netherlands and Belgium, France, Italy and Spain; searches run in the local language by consultants who work that market daily. For a market entry we also advise on employment setup, typical packages and what top candidates in that country expect.
You typically receive a first shortlist within 2–4 weeks, and most mandates are signed within 6–10 weeks. Project-sales candidates in this market are in demand and often have three-month notice periods, which we factor into the timeline from day one.
We only work technical sales and leadership roles in industrial niches - logistics and materials handling among them. That focus means we speak the language of your systems, screen candidates for project-sales depth rather than CV keywords, and bring an active network instead of a database. As a boutique agency you work directly with the consultant who runs your search.
